The “Four Tribes” of Modern Israel

In 2015, President Reuven Rivlin gave a speech which many regard as the defining message of his tenure. He referred to the “four tribes” of modern Israel – secular, national-religious, ultra-orthodox and Arab. Lamenting the tensions and divisions between them, he called for a renewed national mission of healing these rifts and learning to live together in mutual respect.
In this new Begin Center English lecture series we will hear from experts on each ‘tribe’, hearing their analysis and ideas for how to move forward in the spirit that the President calls for.
