Defending Israel from ‘Lawfare’, with Natasha Hausdorff
In the months since October 7, British Barrister Natasha Hausdorff has emerged as one of the great advocates for Israel in the legal sphere, appearing on television news and radio talk shows to make the legal case for Israel’s right to defend itself, and to defend Israel from the libels of “war crimes” and “genocide”.
In a debate which has since gone viral, she also brilliantly exposed the dishonesty of anti-Israel journalist Mehdi Hasan. We are delighted to be hosting Natasha for a conversation about her activism these past 10 months, and the wider issues of ‘lawfare’ waged against Israel in international institutions. Natasha Hausdorff is a Barrister and expert commentator on international law, including the law of armed conflict, foreign affairs and national security policy. She holds law degrees from Oxford and Tel Aviv Universities and was a Fellow in the National Security Law Programme at Columbia Law School in New York. Natasha previously worked for American law firm Skadden Arps, in London and Brussels, and clerked for the President of the Israeli Supreme Court, Chief Justice Miriam Naor, in Jerusalem. She serves as legal director of UK Lawyers for Israel Charitable Trust.
