Centenary of David Raziel's Birth
On May 6, to commemorate the 100th birthday of David Raziel, Commander of the Etzel before Menachem Begin, the Begin Center, in cooperation with the Jabotinsky Institute, Betar World Executive and the Irgun Veterans Association, is hosting an event in the evening at the Begin Center.
At 5:00pm there will be a short service on Mt. Herzl.
At 6:00pm, there will be light refreshments at the Begin Center.
The speakers will start at 6:30pm.
Introductory remarks will be given by Herzl Makov, Chairman of the Begin Center, Mordechai Sarig, of the Jabotinsky Institute, and Ya'acov Hagoel, Director of World Betar. The main speakers are: Minister Benny Begin, Prof. Efrat Naor, Dr. Efraim Even and a representative of the IDF. A musical interlude will be provided by the Israel Choir. Personal recollections will be given by Naftali Naor. The emcee for the evening will be Izzy Mann.
